How do you know when all you have done in your life is good or not?

I have given up totally on the idea that I will ever find real happiness in my life time. I don't think there is one person out there who wants me or really cares enough to get to know me. I am also to afraid to let people know me because everyone who has known me has left me. I always thought that being a good person and doing all you can to make the life of the person you are with good is how you are suppose to be, but have found that people are not like that. If you are good and try to make other happy then they leave and end up with someone who doesn't make them happy who fights with them and that is who they end up getting married to. The saying good guys finish last really is true it seems. I guess if I really wanted to get married I should be a bitch and demand my own way that way who ever I end up with is going to work to make me happy for a change. Even as I write this I feel bad knowing that I can never be that type of person. I am strong and I have so much love in my heart that needs to be given to someone but have no one to give it to. I am just going to give up even trying if someone does end up coming along I just hope I remember what it is like to love someone and to have them love me if that is possible.
